WELCOME TO GAURAV BISWAS
New Branch Manager, Henderson
Davis Funeral Services is delighted to welcome Gaurav Biswas to the team as the new Branch Manager of our Henderson Chapel and Crematoria complex.
With seven years of experience in the funeral industry, Gaurav brings extensive experience and a genuine passion for supporting families through some of life’s most difficult moments.
Originally from Nepal, Gaurav has spent significant time in India, where he completed his higher education and worked as a theatre artist. His first work experience was helping with his family business in Nepal. Since moving to New Zealand, he has worked across three different funeral homes around the country, caring for families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
At Henderson, Gaurav will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Central Park Chapel and crematoria premises while continuing to provide professional and purposeful care to the local community.
He is looking forward to further building awareness of Davis’ services and maintaining strong relationships with local hospitals, cemeteries, clergy and other community stakeholders; and as a gold partner to Hospice West Auckland, ensuring Davis Funeral Services is front and centre in supporting the invaluable work that they perform in the community.
